Privacy policy
In short: this website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics services. We only process the technically necessary server log data and the information you send us yourself – via a form, by email, phone or WhatsApp.

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
DriverConnectOwner: H. Tig.
Friedenstraße 2–4

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Deutschland (Serverstandort: Deutschland)
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
When you visit the website, the server automatically stores technically necessary access data (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page or file requested, amount of data transferred, HTTP status code, the previously visited page (referrer) as well as browser and operating system.
We use this data to deliver the website, to ensure its stable and secure operation and to analyse errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted automatically after about two weeks at the latest and are not combined with other data.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services, advertising networks or social media plugins. No other data is stored in your browser either.
All content – including fonts and images – is loaded from our own server; no third-party content (for example maps or videos from external platforms) is embedded. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
4. Contact forms
If you use one of our forms (“Discuss driver needs” or “Submit applicant profile”), we process your information to handle your enquiry and to prepare a possible placement. The data is transmitted to our server in encrypted form and forwarded from there by email to our mailbox; it is not stored on the web server itself.
The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
To protect against abusive requests, we briefly keep your IP address in the server’s memory in order to limit the number of requests. It is not stored permanently.
Our email mailbox is operated by: STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Deutschland
5. Contact by email, phone and WhatsApp
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the information you provide (for example your name, phone number or email address and your request) in order to answer your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a possible placement is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you use WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland) additionally processes data such as your phone number and metadata; this may involve a transfer to third countries, in particular the USA. For details, please refer to WhatsApp’s privacy policy. Using WhatsApp is voluntary – you can reach us just as well by phone, email or via our forms.
6. Applicant profiles and disclosure to employers
We only pass on information from applicant profiles to a potential employer if you have expressly agreed to this beforehand.
Please do not send us identity documents, bank details or health data in the first step.
7. Storage period
We delete your information as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply. Profiles that do not lead to a placement are deleted after the following number of months at the latest, unless you have consented to longer storage: [Placeholder: Retention period in months]
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar. Data you send to us – for example via the forms – cannot be read by third parties.
9. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
